With the aim of providing welfare & proper medical facilities medical camps are being organized by “Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation”.
For the past five years, a unique mega medical camp is being organized in the backward area of Kolhapur District covering nearly 200 villages. The base camp location is situated on the farmland of a very small & poor village called Pendakhale. The medical team comprises of Physicians, Ophthalmologists, Dentists, Pediatricians, Gynecologists, Orthopaedicians & general Practitioners.
Although the camp is held for one day, the planning commences months in advance. After the camp, regular follow up activity is maintained till the next camp. Data of every remote village & villagers covered by the camp is maintained by the volunteers to meet the exact requirements of the villagers. During the last concluded 2008 mega medical camp, 16300 villagers from 200 villages including 7634 school children benefited from the camp.
During the Kolhapur medical camp food is served to around 40,000 peoples including 7500 school children under the Annapurna Mahaprasadm Project.

Major Activities of the Camp
> Free medical check up of 16,300 villagers (including 7,639 students from 108 schools)
> Distribution of medicines free of cost (Medicines, Tonics, Syrups, etc.)
> Distribution of spectacles to the needy villagers, after their proper eye check up.
> Distribution of 2 sets of Uniforms to school children. 15268 sets of uniforms were distributed to 7634 students during the camp 2008. (Uniforms are stitched using the cloth prepared under Charkha Yojana)
> Distribution of candles & matchboxes to the school going children under the “Light of knowledge project” (Vidya Prakash Yojana)
> Distribution of caps, slippers, sports materials for school children.
> Distribution of Hygiene material such as water purification liquid, anti-lice lotion, tooth powder, soaps, combs, etc. and to make villagers aware about the importance of the hygiene in their day-to-day life.
> Distribution of the used cloths & quilts under the “Warmth of love project” (Maayechi Oob Yojana)
All these events are organized by “ Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation” with the help of its sister concern organizations like Shree Aniruddha Aadesh Pathak, Shree Aniruddha Samprpan Pathak, Aniruddha Academy of Disasters Management and many more.
